Dr. Roberto Achilles Quiambao graduated Doctor of Dental Medicine in the year 1999 from De Ocampo Memorial College of Manila in 1999. He then pursued his externship at the dental out-patient department of the Philippine General Hospital of the University of the Philippines in the year 2000, and took up a Comprehensive Course on Osseointegrated implants at St. Jude Hospital and Medical Center from 2005 to 2006.
He went on to pursue fellowship training in Oral and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery at the department of Oral and Craniomaxillofacial Surgery in Hannover, Germany in 2010.
He is a fellow of numerous professional organizations including, the Philippine College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons in which he served as president, Arbeitsgemanshaft fur Osteosynthesisfragen – an organization based in Switzerland dedicated to improving the care of people with musculoskeletal injuries, and an associate fellow of the Philippine Head and Neck Surgery Incorporated.
Dr. Quiambao has the distinction of being a recognized specialist in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery by the Philippine Regulations Commission, and he maintains a private practice as a chief dentist in Mandaluyong City.

Topic: Review of Bone Graft Materials
Restoring and maintaining facial bone structure is important for several reasons. Dental procedures such as Dental Implant requires that the bone be as close to its original dimension and position as possible for better results.
Bone graft helps heal bone by creating new bone. There are many different bone graft materials that can be used to achieve such results.
This lecture will talk about the importance of bone graft as well as the choice of bone graft materials to be used in a particular case.

Snjezana Pohl,
Dr. med., Dr. med.dent.
Dr. Snježana Pohl completed her graduate studies at the School of Medicine of the University of Zagreb. She obtained her Croatian Doctorate in 1987.
In 1997 she received her graduation in dentistry at Ludwig-Maximilian-University, and obtained her certification as a specialist in oral surgery in the same University in 2003. In 2002 she acquired her Doctorate in dentistry at the University of Cologne. In the same year, Dr. Dr. Pohl obtained a specialist certificate for periodontology and implantology from the European Dental Association (EDA).
Dr. Pohl exhibits an experience of two years in general surgery and orthopedics. She has been a co-owner in a center for oral and maxillofacial surgery in Starnberg, Germany for over 13 years.
Currently she is joint owner at Rident Clinic, Croatia and head of the Department for Oral Surgery. Designated as an assistant professor, she additionally is giving lectures at the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology at the School of Dental Medicine of the University of Rijeka.
As an active lecturer in the fields of implantology and periodontology she underlines the importance of minimally invasive techniques especially in a comprehensive treatment methodologies based upon preservation of tissues such as partial extraction therapies, autogenous tissue utilization, osseodensification and others. Snjezana Pohl modified a technique for simultaneous hard and soft tissue augmentation for Socket Type 2 in an aesthetic zone (mIVAN* technique).
Dr. Pohl is an active member of the European Dental Association (EDA), the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP), the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and the Croatian Society of periodontology.
